Refex Renewables & Infrastructure Limited (RRIL) is a leading name in solar energy, recognized for pioneering projects and delivering innovative, first-of-their-kind renewable energy systems across India. Operating at nearly 89 sites in 12 states, RRIL offers end-to-end solutions in solar installation and clean energy deployment.

Since its inception in 2017 as an Independent Power Producer (IPP), RRIL has been at the forefront of promoting solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) as sustainable alternatives. We excel in the development of rooftop solar projects for industrial and commercial sectors, as well as large-scale solar power plants through greenfield ground-mounted solar installations. Our journey

  • 2007

    Refex entered the solar energy sector in 2007 through a strategic partnership with IBC Solar, Germany, marking the beginning of our journey in the renewable energy domain.

  • 2011

    Commissioned India’s first 18.7 MW ground-mounted solar power plant, setting a benchmark in utility-scale solar installation

  • 2017

    Entered the Renewable Independent Power Producer (IPP) segment, marking a strategic shift to owning and operating clean energy assets nationwide.

  • 2020

    Recognized as a solar power partner of Indian Railways, contributing to their renewable energy initiatives.

  • 2022

    Successfully commissioned a high-altitude solar installation for the Indian Army in Leh-Ladakh, inaugurated by the Honourable Defence Minister of India.

  • 2023

    Commissioned India’s largest ground-mounted solar power plant for Indian Railways, with a capacity of 75 MWp.

  • 2024

    Secured a 100 MW solar project from NTPC, further expanding our renewable energy portfolio.
